I have always been interested in photography. It started with point and shoot film cameras in high school and college, and became an obsession when the iPhone made always having a camera in your pocket ubiquitous. I now have the latest mirrorless gear from Canon, but no matter what I’m shooting with, the story comes first.

I truly believe in the power of photography to preserve not only memories, but emotions and connections. To mark journeys and dreams. To evoke feelings of happiness and love long after the event took place.

My name is Jonathan and I started Blue Note Photography out of a desire to devote my career to something I’m passionate about and that I feel has intrinsic value. I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you!
